She was covered abroad by Chillaby, after which both she and Chillaby were brought to England. Greyhound was the result of this cover [GSB 1:390].   Moore's Britannia Britannia's pedigree is attested by a number of certificates which identify her as a "mare of high blood purchased when about two years old from the Hampton Court stud of King George II by Mr Spann of Bristol for the late Judge [Maurice] Moore, who imported her" [E1:106].   Queen Mab Bred in the Hampton Court Stud she is thought to have been imported by Governor Ogle along with Spark* and to have almost certainly been the first English "bred" mare in Maryland [E1:53].
