Gipsy

Bred by Charles Smith in New South Wales, she was sent to New Zealand in 1844. Her dam is thought to be by Bay Camerton from a Steeltrap mare. The family enjoyed success in the latter half of the 19th century and still has descendants in both Australia and New Zealand.
