Jenny Dismal*

Harrison notes that the available evidence, namely that Jenny Dismal was a daughter of mare by the Godolphin Whitefoot, and that John Baylor said she was a sister in blood to Paget's Brown Dormouse, suggests she belongs to Family 6-a, although this cannot be proven [E1:112]. Jenny Dismal was probably bred by Lord Chedworth and ran for a £50 purse at Chipping-Norton as a four year old in August of 1756. Later in 1756 she was imported by John Baylor, Newmarket, Caroline County, Virginia.

Citizen Mare

Citizen Mare was owned by Colonel W R Johnson of Virginia.
