Alice Hawthorn b f 1838 (Muley Moloch - Rebecca, by Lottery). Sire Line Beningbrough. Family 4-f.

Bred in North Yorkshire by Mr J Plummer, Alice Hawthorn was half-sister to the useful stallions Annandale (br c 1842 Touchstone) and The Provost (br c 1836 The Saddler), and to Fair Helen (ch f 1843 Pantaloon), the taproot mare of Family 4-e.
